Most of what happens in a home happens in conversation. How a carer speaks to your loved one, what topics are raised, whether the tone is respectful β these things are impossible to know without being present. Until now.
Raised voices, belittling comments, threatening language β your loved one may not report it, out of fear, embarrassment, or simply because they don't want to worry you.
Conversations about money, wills, gifts or property can be red flags. If someone close to your loved one is applying pressure, you need to know.
Your loved one may downplay situations to protect you, or simply forget to mention them. Audio analysis gives you an independent, objective record.

During the hours you have configured, Teiker captures audio and converts it into a readable text transcript. You can review it at any time β a complete, timestamped record of conversations that took place in the home.

See who spoke, and for how long
Speakers shown as Person A / B without names, unless speaker recognition is active.
Beyond the words, the conversation breakdown shows you who was talking and for how long. Without needing to know who each person is, you can see the shape of the conversation β was it balanced? Did one person dominate? Were there long silences?
Know exactly who said what
When speaker recognition is active, Teiker goes one step further: it recognises the voice of each known person and attaches their name directly to each line of the transcript. You don't just know what was said β you know exactly who said it.

Audio capture is not continuous by default. You configure exactly which days and which hours it is active β nothing else is recorded.
Choose specific days of the week when monitoring should be active. For example, only on weekdays when the carer visits β and not at weekends when family is present.
Define the time range during which audio is captured. Outside these hours, the microphone is completely inactive. You can set multiple windows per day if needed.

Many families activate audio only during known carer visit hours β Monday to Friday, morning and evening. The rest of the week, the household's privacy is fully preserved.
You define what should never happen in your loved one's home. Teiker listens for it β and alerts you the instant it is detected.
From the app, define the types of conversations or behaviours that worry you. Teiker monitors for them continuously during active hours.
Aggressive or disrespectful tone
Raised voices, insults, threatening language towards your loved one.
Financial conversations
Any mention of money, transfers, wills, property, gifts or bank accounts.
Signs of distress or fear
Expressions of fear, crying, pleas for help, or any indication your loved one feels unsafe.
Custom topics you define
Any specific phrase, topic or keyword that would concern you β added directly in the app.

Is audio captured around the clock?
No. Teiker only captures audio during the days and hours you have explicitly configured. Outside those windows, the microphone is completely inactive. You are always in control of when listening takes place.
Does my loved one know audio is being recorded?
Yes, always. Teiker operates with full transparency. Your loved one knows when audio capture is active, and they can ask Teiker to pause it at any time: "Teiker, I'd like some privacy." The microphone stops immediately.
Are the transcripts stored? For how long?
Transcripts are stored securely and encrypted, accessible only to people you authorise. You can configure how long they are kept, and delete them at any time. They are never shared or used for any purpose other than your family's oversight.
Can the carer or visitor hear the alert when something is flagged?
No. Alerts are sent silently to the family's devices. The person in the home is not notified that an alert has been triggered.
What if Teiker flags something that turns out to be innocent?
You can dismiss any alert and mark it as a false positive. Teiker learns from your feedback to reduce unnecessary alerts in the future, while remaining vigilant for genuine concerns.
